Please remember that the purpose of the New Rotuman Register is make it possible for people within the global Rotuman community to locate and communicate with one another. To facilitate this goal please provide enough information so that people can contact you by e-mail, post, or telephone. Although there is no specific space for phone numbers, you can include them in the space labeled "Additional Information," along with any other information that may be helpful in locating you.
Items marked with a red asterisk are required. The form will not upload unless they are filled in.
Please avoid using diacritics, such as glottal stops (') or special characters, as this makes it more difficult for people to find them in a normal search. So, for example, the districts on Rotuma should be entered as Itumuta, Itutiu, Juju, Malhaha, Noatau, Oinafa, and Pepjei; not as Itu'muta, Itu'ti'u, etc. To comply with proper Internet etiquette, please do not use all capital letters when entering information.
New items in the Rotuman Register are "Secondary School Attended" and "Years [Dates] Attended Secondary School." This is to permit people to search for classmates.
Your Username must be unique, so if someone in the register already is using the name you enter, you will get an error message requiring you to make up a new one.
The date you date on which you fill out the form will be automatically entered. The purpose of this is to let people know how current the information is when they do a search of the database.
