Dubai record for Erasito

YOUNG swimmer Tieri Erasito was in devastating form at the Dubai Short Course Championship yesterday.

Erasito, who is a brand ambassador for Digicel, set a new national record in the open and under -17 girls division.

She competed in the 200m butterfly event and clocked a time of 2minutes 27.84 seconds to break her old record by 15seconds.

Erasito's previous record was set in 2007.

Cheyenne Rova also set a new personal best time in the 50m breaststroke event finishing in a time of 37.52 seconds.

Rova's previous personal best was 38.10seconds.
